Freedom
“If ye continue in my word, then are ye my disciples indeed; And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free” (John 8:31,32). “If the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed” (v.36).
Destiny
“Enter ye at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat: Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way , which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it” (Matt. 7:13-14).
At life’s conception, destiny is also conceived. Life cannot be without a destiny on the horizon. The span of life itself will hold brief destinies, but the eternal destiny is reached when the journey of life is finished.
A Lively Hope
“Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, which according to his abundant mercy hath begotten us again unto a lively hope by the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead” (1 Pet. 1:3).
The Need and Value of Bible Study
You would hardly call a man a scientist whose only knowledge of a field consisted of having met Einstein at one time. Nor would you call a woman a seamstress who owned a sewing machine but never used it.
Yet too many “Christians” are people who have made a fleeting acquaintance with the Lord. Their religion is sort of like an ornament, even a useful one in a pinch. But is it enough?

He is free to serve the Lord. As he walks with God and is faithful, he has the promise that this new life will continue right into heaven.
Forgiveness and Mercy
All mankind is in need of forgiveness. The Scriptures tell us, “As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one” (Rom.
Teach Us to Pray
The soul of every man desires to reach out to his Maker. The extent of man’s fall is revealed by the fact that we need help even to reach out to God. The extent of God’s love is revealed by His reaching down to us, stimulating within us that desire for Him.
The Good Shepherd
More Than Conquerors
“Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? As it is written, For thy sake we are killed all the day long; we are accounted as sheep for the slaughter. Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us. For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, no principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord” (Rom.
Joy
“If ye keep my commandments, ye shall abide in my love; even as I have kept my Father’s commandments, and abide in his love. These things have I spoken unto you, that my joy might remain in you, and that your joy might be full” (John
